This early childhood program uses the First Steps in Music curriculum designed by expert John Fierabend. 30 minute classes run over three different levels for children aged 3 to 6. The aim at this level is to encourage children to be tuneful, artful and beatful, through singing, listening and moving.

Kodàly-inspired small group classes perfect for students who do not have a dedicated music program at their primary school, or as a supplement to individual lessons to reinforce musicianship skills and concepts. 30 minute group classes for years 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6. Students develop their singing skills and use songs to learn to read and write rhythmic and pitch concepts. Students also develop their part-work skills individually and in groups.

Suitable for students who have completed the primary music groups, older students, or students who are undertaking practical exams, these groups use the AMEB’s Music Craft and Musicianship syllabuses to further develop knowledge of music theory and ear training. Exams are optional for students not undertaking practical exams. 45 Minute Classes, Grades Preliminary Through Four.

An opportunity for year 11 and 12 students to work on performance practice, composition, musicology and preparation for written exams. Open to students studying Music 1, Music 2 and Music Extension. 45 Minute Classes.

Open to students in year 5 and older, this class introduces students to the building blocks of composing music and writing songs in a systematic way, while also providing workshopping opportunities for students to develop their existing ideas. 45 Minute Classes.
